How to Plan an Avon Grand Opening Event

The independent Avon representative has a great business opportunity even during rough financial times. There is always a need for shampoo, deodorant, lotions and gifts. The Avon representative must keep a customer base going. It is important to stay in constant contact with regular customers and have promotions to gain new ones. An Avon Grand Opening Event is a smart way to introduce the fact that you are a representative who is ready to serve customers in the area. You can host an open house to announce a new product or the fact that you are becoming an eRepresentative.

Set a date, and book a building where the Open House will be held. If you plan on a 2-hour event you need to book the building for at least 4 hours. A restaurant banquet room, community center, church meeting room, municipal building or rental hall will make good locations for an open house. You may decide to host the event at your own home.

Decide on incentives to encourage your family and friends to bring guests and potential new customers with them to the open house. You can offer $10 worth of product for every $100 worth of orders generated from their guests. Prepare invitations with the incentive for this group of guests.
